Everyone should work with at least 2 views of the same document. I can't seem to do this anymore in PS CS2. Document<View<New is not available either.
Who knows?

I just hate it when some geek takes it upon themselve to do that kind of thing! I don't have CS2, but look around in the Windows menu, maybe under Documents. The usually 'hide' new/old stuff in the same general area.

What about under the Window menu...at the bottom of the list, "New Window for XXX.jpg" or whatever the file name is you have open?

Ahhhh, Found it under window<arrange<new window. Thank you Tom. I looked under window but it was hidden.

No no, thank you Ron.

I wasn't aware of this feature in PS. After reading your post I went digging. I can see this saving a ton of zooming in and out when editing problem areas of a photograph. You learn something new every day in PS.

Why is that?

I can see this saving a ton of zooming in and out when editing problem areas of a photograph. Ctrl + "+" & "-". Use Shift to temporarily get the Hand took to move the pic on the screen. ;-)

As a professional geek myself, I have to stand up for my kind. It's not like we're locked in a closet and decide that it would be fun to remove or change options. There are usually about 20 people telling us what to do... and each person has a different idea. We then take that information and provide the best and easiest solution for everybody.

It would be dull if everything stayed the same. We all need to change to evolve... so application development follows suit.

You mean to tell me that I can have two concurrent views of the same image open, at different zoom perspectives, while I am editing?

Dang, I wish I'd known that about 2800 pictures ago . . .

I gotta go try it.
