hey there; new guy here just popping in quick to say hi-
I just got my 350D and I'm still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles, so if anyone has any solid tips or does and don'ts I'm all ears. Looking forward to chatting.

Welcome to the forum and congrtats on the 350D

Tips ?.... there are loads in the various forums.

I would say shoot RAW and don't panic if you think the images are soft compared to a point and shoot camera.
This allows you to detemine how much USM to apply rather than the camera.

Plus, just enyoy your photography. :)

Agree with Lomond, if you have space on CF and time for processing, definately shot RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
