I was shooting the moon sliver at sundown and turned to Jupiter to see how it would look . This is with the XSi , SMC Pentax 80-200mm zoomed to 200mm with a Vivatar 2x converter . Used adapter to attach to XSi . This is a manual focus old film lens . Cropped @ 100% , and PP in PS7 . Cs'&Cs' welcome .

Not bad at all for the setup you mentioned Ron! Reminds me of my first attempts a couple months ago shooting with my 80-HD refractor.

Thanks Greg ! Not alot to this image but i thought it was good because of the lens i was using . An old film lens . I use to shoot soaccer games with this one and a 2x converter on a film camera . Did pretty good for that .

I've recently bought adapters to use a 300mm SMC Super Takumar 300mm f/4 , MC Takumar 135 f/2.8 , Vivitar SMC 28mm f/2.8 , and a SMC Pentax 50mm f/2.0 lens . Of course everything is in manual mode for manual focusing and the 300mm is giving me the hardest time but it's working . Not the best but it's working . The others are producing nice shots for sure .
