Help with Strobes

Hey all, I need some help trying to understand strobes.
Im looking at hensel strobes right now for shooting action sports. primarily snowboarding and skiing at the local hill, which i horribly light.
But what i'm lost on is, i will need a strobe bright enough to light the subject, but also recycle fast enough for my camera (6.3 fps).

Any suggestions of knowledge please throw my way.

When you shoot with strobes you time your shots and shoot in single shots. If you need fast bursts then you should be shooting with ambient light.

Hahahaha!! The power pack he is using costs $10,600, the flash head is $1,600 (x2) and the $2,100 generator. Yes, for a mere $15,900 you too can light like Chase Jarvis. Oops, don't forget the $3,900 camera and $1,800 lens plus the cost of all the assistants for the day.

OP - The only flash gear I know of that stands a chance of keeping up with your frame rate and having a fast enough flash duration to stop action is the Broncolor from the video above or the newest Profoto gear, which is equally expensive.
