I am looking for a compact camera that has video, hopefully equivalent to my sony handicam with mini tapes, a decent zoom and photographs that look good. We will mostly be taking stills of family vacations, events with friends, etc. when I don't want to haul my 30D around. I would also like to be able to leave the handi cam at home. Prefer for the camera to NOT use AA batteries. (It seems like the cameras that use AA batteries suck the batteries down. If I am incorrect and the proprietary batteries aren't any better, let me know.) I would also like to be able to zoom in while recording video. I was looking at the Panasonic Luminx FS3, but the more I read, the more concerned I was about the quality of the photos and the format for the HD Video. Can anyone suggest a camera? Or, can I fix the color and fuzziness issues in Photoshop 2?
