Well actually "No-Bake" Cheese Cakes. Our church sells these for raising funds. Well i finally got the bright idea of making a nice brochure to hand out with photos of the flavors. So here were to better of the many. LOL
(NOTE) I had several requests about the WB so i cheated and PS'ed them a bit. Hope its a bit better. I've never calibrated my iMac or anything.

Great subject, and nice captures also, the first image is my favorite both to eat and in your series. Nice work!

They are nice shots, but the WB seems off, especially the first three. The oreo pie seem correct.

I know what you mean by the WB is off.. But I don't understand how you know it is off.. Can you explain in what way the White Balance is off (providing that IS what you meant? :) )

Also the first thing I noticed. Like your pics a lot. Good DOF, excellent focus, decent presentation. They all appear to be a bit on the yellow/orange side of things.
For example, (and on my monitor) the strawberries and cherries appear too orange. The oreo should be more black, than brown. Crusts are too orange as well. The limes have a good bit of yellow tint to them.
What I'll do first if I think the WB is correct, but really can't tell is to desaturate a bit. Reducing the color hotness can cure the appearance of out of kilter WB. What I'm not good at is selecting color channels and adjusting things that way.

Dave beat me to my own answer. Plus the fact that I have eyes and can see obvious casts. *shrug*

Actually we do Deliver but unfortunately just locally. LOL

Yeah our first shot was the pumpkin one and I had it set for a nice warm shot but never changed it on the other shots. So yeah I had some yellow. I PS'ed it a bit to try and correct.

Thanks!

Thank you! There were 4 of us working on the project. Two food stylists, the cook and me. Went through at least 20 shots of each cake before choosing one that had decent DOF and focus. I did add a bit of saturation post processing so that may had helped add yellow. LOL

Wonderful! Thats what we want! People to get hungry when they look at them. :)

LOL honestly Most of it was the two stylists that were doing it. Both of them are knowledgeable in culinary arts. Any mistakes they made with the crust I also PS'ed a bit because i wanted the brochure to look as best as possible. But really very little was done on my part. It was great!

Better WB on the corrections. BTW, using PS is not cheating, it's a great tool to get the results you want :)
