Just as the title says " What do some of you look for when photographing urban life?" Is it angles, expression, lifestyle......If I am on the right track, then what would be some examples of why you chose that angle, composition, DOF ect..
Maybe we could have a picture with a small explaination to accompany the photo
I think this could be interesting if it works
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi, it is a very broad question. Personally I have not done much street photography, I have been trying to get used to the camera and technique with animals, but when I do take it out I shoot whatever pleases the eye, although it does not always turn out as I might expect :-( I suppose the short answer is shoot whatever appeals to you.

Maybe you could step through all the submissions in the Urban LIfe forum and come up with a definition.

I shoot alot of urban landscapes, but I do most of them at night. What looks absolutely ordinary or even boring in the light of day can be really exciting at night. Alot of my night shots are things I see in the moment, but sometimes I see something in daylight that I like and will come back to at night.
But I suppose that doesn't really help if you are shooting during the day. :)
