love red hair! Caught this when I wasn't supposed to be taking pictures... you know how it is, temperamental teenagers.

Great color and capture!

How did you get the background white for the candid? PS?

Well, had put up a background cause I was trying to teach myself some simple lighting set ups. My model was a bit shy though and so I caught this one while he was gathering his nerves together.... bless. Chell

I instantly thought the same thing. All you need is a hound dog and a waterhole. Nice shot!

Sorry for being ignorant. I've heard of siad artist but I'm unfamiliar with his work. Is it the illustrator you mean? Just been looking him up and want to make sure I get the right fellow.

Chell,
No problem, this is part of why I love this forum, it helps me expand my world a bit. Yes, Norman Rockwell was an American illustrator, probably the best known ever - in America.

I met him once in Vermont...

Oh, and it's a great photo and very Norman Rockwell IMO.

Oh thanks for that Titus! Always eager to learn. Gonna look at some more of his work it looks fantastic, feel v bad for not knowing him, still if we all knew everything where would we go next? V. honoered to have my work even vaguely compared to his, but extremely flattered none the less. Thanks all above. Big hug
