I took appx 2000 photos of a dance recital. I have been asked to provide a proof album. I have never done anything on this large level. I have all photos on disc as well as files in computer. The album would be handled daily by both children (dancers) and parents, so it needs to be durable. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

How about making contact sheets in photoshop and then printing out 8x10's with about 20 images per sheet. You can put them in those acetate binder sheets and give them to the client. The cost could get prohibitive though, depending on how much you're making from the deal.
