Could I have chose a different angle, how did I do on colors? Tell me the do's and dont's!

The one thing that's missing is the Orange/Yellow glow that I'd expect to see in all that smoke.

Other than that I like the image the muted colours seem to appeal to me!:)

I think you've captured the feeling well, though I might make the engine just a bit brighter & see how that looks.
