Anybody purchase a used camera from B&H?

I have been looking for a specific camera that is pretty hard to find, and one popped up on B&H this morning for a pretty fair price in condition 9.

I have ordered from KEH and trust them, but they NEVER seem to have this particular camera. Adorama has a used copy also, but I have read that their rating system is unreliable.

So, anybody buy used from B&H?

I've bought used from B&H, Adorama and KEH....I wouldn't hesitate to buy from any of them. The only flaw in their rating systems is that they all tend to downgrade the quality of the used stuff...just to be on the safe side.

I did live chat with a salesman, he went and actually grabbed the camera from the warehouse and described it to me. Even though it is listed as a 9, he said that the camera looked 9+ to him. He said that the only flaw was a tiny 1.5mm scratch on the top LCD, but that the rest of the camera looked perfect.

That is pretty good customer service, KEH will usually not get the camera for you.

I just picked up a used 40D from them and I must say it is in better condition than the one I already had. Literally looked like it came straight from the factory brand new. Definitely would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Apologies for butting in here (i have never bought used from B&H) but I have certainly never heard of anyone having any issues with them new or used.

They actually seem to value the customer (a rare thing indeed these days) and strive to give that extra service.
