Check out these 3 images from my last time at the zoo. These were all taken through plexiglass of very dark settings. By going to very high ISO on my Digital Rebel (not even a 20D mind you) I was able to get images that no one else in the building could get.

Nice shots. ISO 3200 on a DRebel? You hacker!
Did you use any noise reduction software?

All were RAW. #1 actually used "as shot" exposure settings which never happens for me. I did put noise reduction to 25 on the raw adjustment factor and mild USM after conversion.

I'm really surpised the 1/20th sec. handheld turned out so good on a very active creature. A lemur I believe.

Do you have a noice reduction software? That may really make a difference as well. Noiseware has a community version that is free. I ran the last one through and it really smoothed out the noise.

My rebel is not hacked, but I do use the 1600 ISO regularly. Using that software really helps.

I have seen mention of the hacked software before..Is it safe?..Can it stuff the camera?

Great shots, I must have a go at higher ISO settings myself :)
