Jm Photography,
Luckily none for me, however when I replaced the crappy Canon strap with a POTN strap (which is so much better, as per my neck) I did find a good pet use for it.

I don't think they've eaten any, and that's out of a good dozen dogs over 20-some years. Lost a couple of pairs of slippers, had some furniture chewed on, and several rugs anointed, but no camera gear damaged to date.

I was cleaning my lenses and filters a couple of weeks ago, when the cat decided it was play time. I put my CP on the table and went to get a drink from the kitchen. When I came back the cat was on his back and scrabbling around with the CP between his teeth and claws. It was covered in scratches so I threw it out and am yet to buy a new one:o.
I learnt a valuable lesson though - Never ignore the cat!

One of my dogs chewed my keyboard cable once but neither of them have done anything with the camera gear

my dogs equate camera gear with 'lets go for a walk', and I beleive, they equate the big white lenses with "BOATRIDE!" I don't think either one would eat any camera gear for fear of being caught by the other and getting chewed on for messing with the fun indicators.

My Boxer Emily ate an entire couch when she was a puppy. Chewed the arms off, and then somehow busted one of the arms off.

She also was responsible for eating my Wacom tablet and pen.

They're all pretty good now, though (I have 4)

No camera gear yet but the slippers have vanished countless times. My dogs always associated camera with walk so it was the dogs best friend, just like birdfromboat.

Was staying at a friends house, had my minolta x700 on the tripod in the backyard, dog comes barreling around the corner, and knocks it clean over. Camera was fine (its a tank), but man was I afraid it damaged on of my fav lenses (45mm f2). but it was all good.

Cheers

The plastic "foot" for my Sigma 500 flash (the one that lets it stand by itself).

Fortunately she seems to prefer pencils over just about anything else, so I just leave a bunch of those lying around everywhere. ;)
