Awesome shots! Did you happen to get any of Jesse James Trophy truck?

Car looks strange, not a long or short quattro, like mixed self made

Sadly that "snappy" shot makes car look like it is parked not moving..

I suppose my avatar might give a clue to my feelings about these shots, but just in case - lovely work! It's always nice to see a Ur Quattro in its natural habitat!

Car looks strange, not a long or short quattro, like mixed self made :rolleyes:I'm as certain as I can be that this is an original SWB Quattro - the tell-tale difference which few people adjust when converting is the windscreen rake. The windscreen on the SWB rally car was quite a bit steeper (as an Audi 80) than on the LWB cars.

If you compare it to the photo linked here (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q139/HamishWhite1986/Audi%20Quattro/S7002665.jpg) of a conversion an absolute nutcase/genius/hero from E38 is doing, you can see the difference.

Hamish's conversion thread was linked on Audi-Sport.net (the club I run) and it's fair to say jaws almost universally hit the floor. It's worth a look if you like URQ's/Audis/cars in general - the only thing is the images aren't parsed at the moment, so it's copy and paste mayhem - certainly worth having a look at a few of the images just to get an idea of exactly what level of craftsmanship is going into this thing!

Anyway, once again, kudos to the OP for the lovely shots - I'm very jealous that I wasn't stood somewhere not too far away with my own camera!

Regards,

Rob.
