Interesting pose...

I would have to guess that if HE got down, YOU could get down, no?

That would be MY question as well. ;)
It DOES make the shot "Stand" out though. Interesting none the less.

Can't you guys see the mime's fence between them ??? ;-) ;-)
They're on the chairs to see over it :p

It was at the end of a very busy 3 day shoot, and this was the last shot. The background was better when we were standing on the chairs, perspectives and framing etc.
However, I was extremely tired, and I am pretty sure that I wasn't really thinking about it too hard...:D :o

I also recognise the place...

Daniel and I have been there. And every other West coast beach.

Was it Karekare, South End, or Whatipu?
I have hundreds of shots, with scenes just like this. :p

And yet you have to bend down... wouldn't it had been better if only him stood on a chair and you stood straight up... looks like that might hurt your back... but what do I know... I'm no pro. :D

you are right, but once I was up there, it all seemed like a good idea. I started shooting level, and then worked my way down, its all about taking as many pics as you can, until you feel that you have nailed it!
Wazza, it was Karekare, on the path out to the southern end. These pics and more from the studio and High Street shoots will be up on the clients website from the 15th of June, so I will post the link!
