Macro with a 70/200 Tamron

I bought this 70/20 Tamron lens and it says "macro" on the casing. This day i haven't found the tiniest clue on HOW you get the thing to go macro. Does anyone have an answer?

Welcome to POTN :)

Well no zooms (yet) give true macro, however many lenses say macro on them. I have no experience with your Tamron lens however most lenses you need to set the focus to its closest setting and that should give you the lens macro setting.
