Couple gets married in the RAIN!

It was one of those years for rainy wedding days in the northeast. And this day was no exception. The rain came on pretty sudden and there was no where else to go. So they got married in the rain! To top it off, the chair company had taken the chairs away after the rehearsal due to a communication error and the groomsman had to go get them and set them up just minutes before the service. When the brides mom was pulling up in the limo, she said she expected to see no one. Instead, she was greeted with the sight of a sea of umbrellas and smiling guests! I've always wondered how you protect your gear if you are stuck in one of these situations.

You protect the gear with a hefty garbage bag. Or at least I do I should put one on and snap a picture of it everyone always laughs but it has never failed me goes on quick and you can't beat the price.

That is exactly what I did--shot with a garbage bag around the camera. I use the white ones because you can kind of see the camera through it a bit. Keep one in my case at all times. An umbrella just may protect me, but the mist hits the camera.

a zip lock bag and I cut a hole in it, screw my hood on, and have a quick and dirty cover.
