Is there one out there? Two family members contacted me this week asking if i could come to there house and take a few. I have a few alien bee's right now and i always used my schools backdrops. But is there one i could invest in that is portable?

I own this one and think its the best out there for the price and Ive owned several, though at times it is difficult to find in stock: LINK (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/556182-REG/Photoflex_DP_SHDBGSPKT_Pro_Duty_Backdrop_Support_K it.html)

I have heard good things about the $99 Impact Kit on B&H as well. Very good bang for the buck.

Just my opinion: I have played with the impact one and I personally thought it was way too flimsy and cheap for my liking. I honestly havent liked any of the Impact stuff I have seen, but I guess if you simply cant put the money into the nicer stuff, its better than nothing.

Thats my thinkings. The impact stands I have work awesome except in high wind(no stands do great). A background is a different beast all together. If you have the extra $100 for the nicer ones, get those. if not, Impact is the way to go.
