View Full Version : Unknown bird with strange legs (artificial legs???)

I took this photo in Universal Studios in Florida. Just now when I was processing the photo I noticed the really strange looking legs. Does this bird have artificial legs? Or why does they look so shiny?

Great capture Tommy.
The right leg appears to be deformed, probably a birth defect.

Fantastic shots! That leg looks ikkky! I wonder if he was born like that or if it has been mangled in a fight or something.

it is an injured foot. eventually it will die and drop off leaving just a stump i believe

Not a grackle ... they have yellow eyes. I don't know what it is, but it looks similar to some birds I just saw the other day in Mexico ... saw a bunch of dark birds with really long tails.

That is one weird lookin leg, looks like it would hurt the way he has it too. Maybe it is artificial.
