Scissors in action

When the scissor-tailed flycatcher is in action, its tail opens up. I find it quite beautiful. Agree?

Thanks for looking Aaron. You are right. Actually these two shots are accidents. The AF was locked when the bird was on the pole. It just happened to take off when i pressed the shutter button. I can never catch this guy in flight. Maybe one day, with alot of practice. :)
