Canon 1DMK2 17~40L zoom, the first at a place called Larkfield Dam [slight cheat in PS on that one] and the second Billings view both in Rawdon in West Yorkshire. comments appreciated
PS
Could anyone tell me how to keep my files to 100kb and below without losing to much quality, the second pic has lost loads, cause i had to save it at low quality to get it below 100kb ????

Martin, really like the second image - might I suggest that you straighten the horizon on it?
I can't tell you how not to loose the quality when reducing files - Mine all tend to come out too dark in the transfer to sRGB.

Both are great, but love the 1st one better. The 1st one is more "moody" than the 2nd one.

Great shots. I take my pictures from photoshop 7, use the save to web function and reduce the size to about 800 pixels then put the quality as high as possible to keep it under 100mb. TYhe quality generally stays quite good. If that isnt working for you then im afraid im out of ideas.

Hi Martin
I really like both these pictures, I to am always on the look out for sunset shots like this.
The only comment I would add to what adebass said about resizing is to reduce the size before going to 'save for web'. Go to image size-resize and reduce the longest side of your picture to approx 750px and apply, then go to 'save for web' and most pictures should give a high quality at around 80kb

Regards Peter.
