View Full Version : Met Bambi last evening !!

After a day full of stress I decided to take a hike in the wood. By coincidence I noticed a very young deer (Bambi) It was lying beside the path in the grass. ca 3 meters from me.
I was such a very touching scene, and took some photo's from the deer at 4 meters distance.
After leaving I hided behind a Xmas tree to see wether mama would show up. After a few minutes she came and they both walked away. (also on photo!)
Was very delighted to see that Bambi was not alone .

Thank you for your reply. The as the sun was going down and some light fell on bambi It was possible use this light. Beside cropping a bit I the photo's are straight from the camera.

Nice captures, loebas.
Mom was definitely nearby, the whole time ... watching you carefully. This is what the youngsters do when encountered by a "threat" ... they curl up and try to hide. It's good you didn't stay around too long, or Mom may have abandoned the little one.
