Buddy that is not a CF its a Micro Drive. Write speed is A little slow for XT or better.

Micro Drives/CF II:

PROS:
1) Cheap

CONS:
1) Slow read/write speed
2) Can break if you drop it(it's a small spinning Hard Drive)
3) Uses more battery power

Buy a SanDisk Ultra II card!

I definately wouldn't trust one of them in my camera, It's a small hard drive with moving parts.. Thats just spells disaster!

Let's not confuse terminology. Compact flash memory (solid-state) versus Microdrive (rotating media). Then CF type II packaging.

I think you should read the spec from the link. Magnetic head and 3600RPM rotation speed says microdrive. Means very small hdd...

The price is great; just isn't for any of us.

Dont listen to the naysayers. That is a good price. I have both solid state cf's as well as the microdrive. Have never had a problem with my Hitachi.

The price is great but the real question should be. Do you want 4 gig's of pictures on 1 card? No matter if it is a microdrive or CF they can still go bad and 4 gig's is a lot to lose.

I have micro drives form hitachi and have not even had a burp with them. They are slow and I should sell mine. Great idea. Off to the market place.

Costco is offering 15% off all SanDisk products between June 13-19. This is available both instore and online per their advertisement that I got leaving the store today.
Got my 20D body today--whoohooo.
