Mountain wildflowers

I would love to take credit for this photo but a friend stopped over yesterday needing some slides scanned. I thought several were rather stunning. I haven't shot chrome is so long I had forgotten what it's like. This is Mt. Hood (Oregon) from Paradise Park. I have no data on the photo other than it is 35mm Ektachrome and was shot with Canon gear. And I did ask permission to post this. Comments and critiques are appreciated.

Wonderful Image - a natural carpet of flowers.
Perhaps a little contrast masking on the trees might help to bring them out of the shadows?
