Heres another iconic Ferrari from the 80's the twin turbo 2.8L V8 GTO, the predecessor to the F40, again sorry for the quick pics as I was in the way of everyone who was putting the cars to bed.
The shot of the rear of the car (again it was in a garage and that was the only shot I could get) is F1 Eddie Cheevers old car and was completely restored from the ground up even though it had only done about 2000 miles from new, if anyone's intrested then here's a link to the project..... http://www.foskers.com/ferrari_restoration/car_1/index.html#

the owner probably put the yellow film over the fog lights... different but no gains ;)

nice shots.

I was in the way of everyone who was putting the cars to bed. Sometimes you just have to be stubborn? ;)

I love it. I wish it didn't sit so high. Needs about a 2" drop.

Probably my favorite Ferrari ever. It just looked so much better than anything else around that time.

That is a great looking car. I love the lights in the lower front fascia.

nice shots.

Could be the car was originally sold in France, in those days the lights at the front needed to be yellow instead of white I think.
It is a LHD, were there any 288 GTO made with RHD ?

Still one of the most beautiful Prancing Horses ever made together with the Daytona.

I know some of the older mercedes had their parking? lights yellowed around this time, like hte 280 diesels or 240 diesels or whatever....

Ouch - a lot of swirls and holograms! Quite sad, such a fine car.

Kind regards,

Ebbe
