I can't imagine any snake being friendly. Did it try to race away when you went to catch it?
I guess the seal didn't appreciate having it's frantic lifestyle disturbed!

Haha... well maybe he (she?) didn't know he was friendly. It did try to speed off a little but, for such a fast snake, it was surprisingly mellow... especially for a warm day. By friendly... it didn't try to bite. Also, I'm quite the reptile fan. ;)

Yes, I know... I need to get much better with my camera. At best, I'm a point and shoot photographer... I have a sony dsc-p200... I'm going to make some attempts at using it better over the summer!
