I am having trouble saving a jpeg file from a raw file in photoshop 6.0. I convert the raw image with the canon software no problem! After that,I am lost!! Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Photoshop doesn't understand Canon RAW format. You'll have to convert from CRAW to TIFF or JPG using Canon (or better yet, BreezeBrowser) software then edit the results in Photoshop.

The big advantage of CRAW is the ability to adjust white balance, saturation and sharpness during the conversion process.

yeah I started using RAW and frankly it is a superior format...I can get 90 shots in RAW (vs...125 in highest jpg setting) on my 256meg card (and I have a 128meg b/up)..so if you don't mind the xtra effort it really is the best for phot quality...assuming the highest quality achievable is important to you :)
