Hi Everyone,

This is a shot that i just happened to get. It is my gorgeous niece who was visiting one afternoon, and I found her curiously rattling though my drawers. I just happened to have my camera in hand, and snapped a good one. I would just like some feedback on wether or not you think the pic is good, or if i am just biased.

It was shot with my 20D, using a Tamron 28-200 (i tend to use it alot for its versatility even if it isn't the sharpest lens), 1/60 @ f5.6 (i can't recall, but this probably would have been program mode) with my 420EX bouncing off the ceiling. ISO 200. No post processing has been done, this is straight from the camera.
Thanks, and enjoy. Look forward to your feedback.

Hi.

I love the composition. It is really framed well and I think it's not just your bias telling you it's good. :)

If you have Photoshop or something like that, maybe a little post processing could help. A bit of a curves adjustment, levels or contrast might make it a bit more eye catching.

You really caught a great moment.

The only thing I can add is I find the wall edge to the right a little distracting would be better removed.
Cheers

Too dark. Needs the shadows to be lightened/exposure increased if shot RAW.

composition is spot on, could do with being a little brighter, but still a very nice capture

That's a she? Thought it was a boy, but just noticed the pink clothes.

Thanks for your replies.

I agree that it could be a little brighter. Unfortunately it was shot in JPEG, but i will still make some adjustments.

I think it is mainly the composition that catches the eye, so i will work on the rest and see if i can make it better.

Thanks again.
