Nice one, but is the blue the true colour, only it looks extremely blue if you know what I mean.

Very nice, but the skin color seems a little dark as compared to your avatar.

Thanks, while in reality my eyes are blue they aren't that blue :) . They were recoloured in PSP9 for effect.

Very nice, but the skin color seems a little dark as compared to your avatar.
Perhaps my avatar is too pale:D . I used various layer blend mode techniques to achieve a darker skin on purpose to enhance detail and achieve a more weathered look.

I like the B&W conversion + weathered look you achieved, but the blue is a bit to intense IMO.

I think it's a fine black and white. I'm about over selective color though. I say go straight black and white and forget the gimmicks. Maybe a tighter crop as well.

WOW ! Cool portrait ! I'm not so crazy about that blue but still good one.
First time I saw it reminded me about Obi Wan Kenobi in "A new Hope" :)

I tried the blue eye thing on a photo of my wife once, actually she has green eyes, but this type of effect usually looks better when it's much more subtle.
