Well today they all left the nest. One of them was out on the grass and my dog almost got it, we picked him up and put it back in the tree fort. The parents were squacking like crazy so we opened the door to the tree fort and let them out the easy way. The parents calmed down after a while and the babys went under my shed. I saw the parents bringing them worms which was a good thing. They have been popping in and out of the shed and running up and down my back yard.
It's pretty neat to watch, of course my daughter wants to keep one!!

Dan, These are really Sharp. Which lens did you use?
Good job your Dog didn't get them, and they were reunited with their parents. :D

Thanks Ballen, the first pic was with the 28-105 and the last 2 were with the
70-200 f/4.
After I updated my firmware I took the camera in the back yard for a few pics, when I changed the lense I got some dirt on the mirror and focus thing. I had a hell of a time cleaning it and I keep thinking my pics are not turning out as good as they were before. These turned out pretty sharp but I had a bunch of crappy ones. I would hate to have the camera sent away to get checked.

OUCH! Sorry to hear about your mishap, and I know what you mean about not wanting to send it off. I hope you can resolve that at home.
Have you got a bulb type blower? I'm betting that it may still be just a piece of dirt lodged in there. Good luck with that.
The 70-200 is one sharp lens. :D

I used the bulb blower and then the brush, after using brush I made it worse..lol
I think I have it pretty good but it's time to invest in Copperhill.

I dont know if you've seen this thread yet, but at the bottom one of our members (Lancea) was kind enough to post a link to a Copper Hill tutorial.

Hey Dan! Great job on the rescue! Those are lovely pictures of the fledglings. Keep them coming. :D
How come no other comments??
Most people are in the woods, gardens, studios, streets...etc. to shoot. So it's rather quite on Sat and Sun here. ;)

Beautiful shots of these little guys. Soon you will see the parents teaching the little ones how to get their own food. Keep that soil in good shape with lots of earthworms and you will always have a family of Robins around. Hope you get your lens cleaning resolved.

Thanks everyone....Our family is trying it's best to keep them from harm but it's not easy. I know we have to let mother nature takes it's course but we are trying to stack the odds a little. Yesterday one of the babys was hiding in behind the shed and got it's leg stuck and was hanging and flapping away, the mother was squawking also. I released it and it seemed O.K. This morning my dog got a hold of a baby blackbird, my poor kids were so upset. Now he only gets supervised time outside.
