View Full Version : Little Heron Fishing

Not sure of the name of this type of bird. I think I was told at one time it was a type of lesser heron. He was fishing for minnows and didn't seem alarmed at my presence at all.

This was shot at fairly close range from my kayak on a finger of a canal system here in Florida.

I have about a dozen shots. Many were quite decent.

Looks like it may be a black crowned night heron.
I had to copy and paste each pictures URL in to see them, don't know why but they are very nice photos.

Thanks for letting me know the photos aren't showing up.

I hit the "insert image" button then copied and pasted the URL from right clicking my image on ofoto.com and pulling up the properties.

Why wouldn't they show up?

Have you tried adding .jpg after your url?

I bet that's it. I bet It's not a public album. Time to look for a photo hosting provider.

Have you tried adding .jpg after your url?
.JPG is at the end already. Once I didn't include when highligting the URL before I copied and the photo didn't show up on my page at all. When I view the page the photos are right there...I think it's because ofoto is set up as invitiation only, without a public option.

the image name start with a number and that may not be good. you could try to change the names of the images so that their name don't start with a number and see if that helps.
