Focal Length cellphone lenses

Hi there,

I am wondering;

what are the focal lengths (converted in 35mm format) for cellphone lenses. In the exif there is always something like 4mm / 5,6mm but I guess it will be something around 35/38mm?

I think it would depend on the sensor size and "glass" (probably plastic) that the manufacturers put in, which could vary from brand to brand and model to model. I couldn't find any definitive answer when I looked myself.

Yeah, and I shake my head when i see people taking pictures of their kids with them. Using such a crappy device to capture life's special moments. :rolleyes: At least use a P&S..
