#'s 1, 2, and 4 are good captures and are reasonably interesting, but the lighting is not very good in 1 and 2. The main column seems to be backlighted in both 1 and 2.
I have no comment on #3 as I cannot tell what is going on there at all.
#4 is a good closeup of the eye, but the focus is clearly on the eyebrow. I assume you were shooting for the eye and eyelashes to be in focus, but they're not.

I feel that you need to work on your focus.
For the water drop shots, you need fast shutter, tons of light, and use manual focus. One of the easiest ways to hit your focus on the droplets would be to get a ruler to measure how far your drops are jumping from the surface. Then manually set your focus on that spot and snap away until you get a keeper. It's tedious. That's also why it's important to have your setup very static, so you can determine the distance that the drops will jump. So, take your time when you do the setup.
There are tons of tutorials on water drops out there.

Like the waterdrop shots, one day I'll find the patience to have a go.

There is a very good thread going at the moment in the BW/Experimental section that will give you some good information on getting good droplet pictures.

I read through the thread this week and decided to have my first attempts and was pleased with the results....:)
