1st attempt

I just started taking photography seriously and have only been shooting sports. In an attempt to find another style I would like to shoot I started shooting some still life.

I got home from work one morning, looked out the back door and saw my basketball hoop covered in dew. I went outside and took a few shots. This is what I came up with:

First 2 are underexposed. And the hotspot in the third is kind of distracting. I'm assuming you did it with pop up flash. Perhaps if you tried them right at sunrise/sunset, you would get that beautiful golden glow.
