I took these sunsets (about a week apart) last November from my son's dock. Because of all the neighboring houses and docks, I wasn't totally happy with the shots and assumed I'd get better ones to post. Well, I failed to be in the right place at the right time, and now I've left Florida for the summer, so here are the best sunset shots I got from this past winter.

Only edit was re-size.

Very nice and a very nice area. BTW were do you get your camera equipment from? My inlaws live in Largo in the winter and when we visited in March I could not find many camera stores, I ended up buying my XT from Best Buy ( not my first choice )

Dan, I buy everything on-line, from B&H Photo or Beach Camera. Only local source is Wolf/Ritz, not for me.

Did you on these or do you use any special filters for your sunsets/beach photos? I love playing with filters and shopping for a popular favorite for my beach trip next week.

Both are fantastic but 2nd my favorite!

Also, Profeel is where I just bought my new 20D and lens, misc., they were slightly cheaper than BnH and actually had a 5 star rating over the 41/2 rating that BnH has (not that that would stop me from buying for BnH, just means another good place to shop)

Outstanding second shot - took one like it back in 1989 with my old 35 mm pentex - great image!
