Thanks for the comments. I went to the buck store got socks for the water. Green towel for the landscape a yellow mitt thing for the sun and a blue place-mat for the sky. I tried the shot low so I could get some shadows on the water part to give the look of the sun coming up over the water. LOL This is another shot that I handed in to be judged at my photo club. So hopefully they will like it too.

Neat idea. Did you try using any kind of spot lighting to get the effect of the sun coming up? The image is pretty evenly lit, unlike a sunrise.

This was taking with just light coming through window behind it. But if I take that type of shot again I will try a light behind but it might make for to much shadows. I took this at a long angle to get some shadowing. Well we will see what the judges comments are they might say the same thing LOL.

Thanks for the comments. Went to Photo Club last night to get results of our second clinic. The CAPA judges also liked this shot. I scored a 10 9 9 for a score of 28 out of 30 and a red ribbon. We didn't get our comments last nite but will receive them next meeting. So I was very happy about that.

I think this is fantastic! Love the idea and the color. I was at a camera club for the first time Tuesday night and they were judging pics. Highest score I saw that night was 24.

Thanks for the comments. I could of put a boat in might of been fun to do. But I was looking for simple LOL. Chris you will enjoy the camera club. Judging Night is a good nite to go and see the photos and the hear the comments. You learn alot. We had tough judges this time too. Not many photos got above 24 either. I handed in 6 photos. My marks were from 22 to 28 and I think i was the only one to get a red ribbon. I came home with 1 red 1 blue and 4 yellow ribbons. So I was very happy with that.
