100 percent crop, hand-held, 100-400mm at 400mm. I was surprised to get quite a bit of detail with this relatively puny lens.

As you know, Adrena1in, the weather has been very poor here, but I was lucky enough to get clear skies for about an hour on three consecutive nights. Not so tonight - hacking it down as I write.

Tell me about it! Bought a 11" scope with a 2800mm focal length a couple of months ago, and have only got out two or three times with it, and haven't managed to get any decent shots through it yet. :mad:
