Did a search for an answer but couldn't find one. I dropped my one flash and now the bulb won't fire. Everything else seems to work fine, just no flash.
Is there a way to replace the bulb without sending it to canon? Where would I get the bulb?

You can order it from Canon itself. Give them a call. The last time I called, I got all my answer. I have great experience with them.
Try your local camera store as well.

It may or may not be worth the effort. Canon have a fixed charge for repair of the flashgun, IMO a reasonable charge for all accidents, including water damage ~ I've have three or four repaired for falls, water immersion and burn bulb due to overheating [over shooting].
So sending to Canon might not be the bad experience you seem to be expecting.

Then does it really work at all?

Thanks for the responses. I just thought a bulb could be $20 or so versus $120. Didn't know if it was easily accessible.
Good point deadpass

from previous times this has come up, a bulb is in the $30 range, if memory serves me right
