I asked my daughter to make a silly face and this is what I got. I'm not sure if the sarcasm comes across in the picture, but it made me laugh :)

No model for me today. The colors in her eyes are really bright right now too.

she has amazing eyes. I love them!
I can tell she as a serious part about her in the first shot, yet doing that funny face.

Thank you, I checked out your pictures and I don't think I can take any credit for them. You did a nice job lighting those up!

funny.... she looks so grown up... I can't decide if she looks mostly like you or her mom... but maybe just a good mix... ;)

It depends on what grandparents you ask... I think she looks like me, but her personality is a lot like mine so I think that has something to do with it. She did get a lot of her traits from my side of the family but her mom has some influence in there. She is growing up fast... too fast.

Hmm... I am not sure but the second picture look kinda weird to me. It must have been taken with a wide angle lens and from very close distance. Thus, the distortion. Human physical contact is never this close unless an intimate one. Psychologically speaking, it look unnatural and would be considered invading of private space (of the subject). But maybe for family keep sake it could be very interesting angle of view. For a stranger like me it is not.. hmmm.. pleasing. Otherwise the lighting and color look great.

Most of my pictures are family keepsakes. I like to share them anyway. My kids are too cute not to share.

Thank you. I have been shooting manual focus as much as possible. It's helps me pay attention to where I am focusing.
