Can't help you then, hopefully someone can chime in from the US and sort you out.
It helps to have your country under your username for future questions though.

Do you mean stock images of events and such? Most US agencies have photographers already at events - really depends on what you're trying to sell, what the quality is, how unique, etc.

I'm presuming the op is talking about paparazzi-type images. Right?

Correct I will be starting to take celebrity photos pretty much being a "paparazzi" and want to know where I can attempt to sell the pictures. Trying to know things in advance

Don't know, but I would suspect that it would depend on just what is going on in and around the photograph. Big Name Star being arrested would probably have a different market than same big name star walking down the street.

I would suspect that your best tactic is research which magazines and papers use images of the type you are getting (easy to do, browse the magazine stands at your local newsagent) then contact the picture editors of said magazines, asking what they are looking for and what submission requirements they have.

It is very competitive market though and you will be going up against people who have years of experience behind them, loads of contacts etc. A high percentage of paparazzi 'candid shots' are actually set up and arranged in advance, with the pap turning up and the celebs posing for them. The celebs then act outraged whilst enjoying the extra publicity.

Thanks for the info , don't have nothing to lose as I am doing this as a
side job , also found other outlets online that pay 50-60% on the photographs
