Unexpected site.

I spent the day down at the marina expecting to shoot gulls and boats. I was looking down staring at the rocks when I saw this guy pop his head out. For some reason it kinda shocked me, then I realised how large he was and that shocked me more.

Thinking back I shouldn't be surprised at both, they are after all called wharf rats.

Lovely shot. The softness of the rat is very well contrasted against the rough textured rocks. He might hurt his little hand on them!
