ah who am i kiddin', give me everything ya got!

this is my first post in this section. the wife got me the nifty fifty as an early xmas gift so i thought id try it out. this was taken with that lens on my 450D (XSi). im no pro by any means, im just a newb with a lens.

i adjusted the picture in lightroom then took it in to PS for some removal of a heater vent and an outlet.

Great job. I find photographing lights like that difficult, so I think you did just fine!!! =D

thanks! i was going for the over exposed look, kinda make the lights pop. that shot was just the lights on the tree being on. all other lights and flash were off.

has a small HDR effect. I'd like to see it entirely in HDR, but that is a great shot. It is really difficult with that kind of lighting, I'll agree.
