Canon EH-17L hard case for 20D with 17-85IS?

Hi again all.
Does anyone use the Canon EH-17L Semi-Hard Case for the 20D with a 17-85IS attached?
I've seen different answers to this; some say it fits, others say it doesn't.
There are times when I want to just take the camera and the above lens only, and I like the fitted cases.
Remember when 35mm cameras came with a fitted, hard leather case? And there were also a bunch of different sizes to use with different lenses.
Those were the days.......:-)

I cannot answer your question for two good reasons, the first one being the fact that I do not own the 17-85 :D The second one is that yes, I remember when cameras came with the fitted hard leather case. Until last moving, I had a box full of those because I've always hated those things :D
