Slide copier impulse buy

I just won a fleabay item on a whim - a old slide copier on m42 mount. Anyone done much copying work? Does it take ages to do a few hundred?

well once you have good results from the lighting and can reproduce those settings then its just the time to put a slide in photograph. That assumes all the slides have about the same density and work with the lighting.

I have an EOS mount version perhaps I should sell mine, haven't used for a few years.

I have the m42 adaptor. I just envision archiving all my old slides from the K1000 (some from 25 years ago etc). Some images have degraded and maybe I could PS them. The density is pretty varied too, it'll be trial and error. But at least I'll have them digitized and easily viewable...
