Danica didn't want to talk to ANYBODY she didn't have to. I think this celebrity thing got real old real quick for her. She couldn't go to the bathroom without people following her around asking questions and taking pictures. Poor kid!

Nice shots! We don't get to see many close-ups. Sr. seems to be having a good day! Unlike his usual ones... ;-)

BTW, out of everyone there, Sr. was the most relaxed and had the most fun. Laughing at everything and just really looked happy to be alive. Makes you wonder how much of an act is put on for TV :)

Great pics man. So clean and sharp.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have lived here in DFW for over 3 years and have yet to go to a race at TMS. One day......one day.........

Well I'll have to carry you along next time :)

BTW, those were ALL with the 100-400L at my favorite sweet spot on the lens, around f7.1-8.0. Some were shot at the 1.8m setting as they were close.

kawter... I appreciate the kind words :)

I shoot for a magazine here in Texas called Texas Driver Magazine (http://www.texasdrivermagazine.com) which caters mostly to the affluent lifestyle. Lots of exotics, great food, great hotels and great Texans.

That's my hobby... my full time job is in scalable enterprise class computing.
