I was invited to a wedding yesterday, and their photographer backed out at the last minute. I was asked to take some candid shots and I would be paid for those. I agreed to take shots, at no charge, and made them aware that I am not a professional photographer. I also made sure they were aware that I did not have the correct equipment for indoor photography either. I had no flash :o
I'll post some more of the candid shots as I go through them.

Hi Neutral,
This is a very pretty shot. Did you shoot RAW? I ask because the photo needs a tad adjustment in white balance as it is coming up with a yellowish-green tint to it. I would suggest Custom White Balance in the future when you're stuck indoors with no flash. Other than that, it's a great capture of the happy moment, and considering the circumstances, the B&G will be very grateful to you for documenting their day!

I love B&W photos, but in this instance, I reckon it looks great in colour and there's no need to try it in B&W

Yes, it was shot in RAW. I'll play around with it when I get some time. I've been really busy trying to sell my house, and haven't even gotten through all the photos yet :o

I've been really busy trying to sell my house, Gosh, that sounds a little extreme. Most of us just get a second mortgage when we need more money for lenses.;)

I kiss your feet! No, no. No need for that. Just let me borrow your 20D and a few of your IS lenses for a month or so and we'll call it even.

That's a shot of the bride & groom. The noise is due to shooting at ISO-800, which was due to having no flash :o

Not bad at all. And shooting in raw you may just have saved some memories for the B&G.
Is the on-board flash that bad?
