I have a pretty specific question - does anyone know if the 20D with Tamron 28-75 2.8 will fit in the Lowepro Toploader 65 AW with the lens hood on and with the OpTech strap?
The 20D and the 28-75 are all I have at the moment, and I'm looking for a good walk around case that isn't too large, and one that will allow me to get the camera out quickly when I want to take a shot. Haven't found the case locally where I could just try it.

I don't know with the lens you are using, I have used one with my 10D and 17-40L and 28-135 is. I had the lens hood for the 17-40 down the side and I managed to just about get it in. the 28-135 will fit with the lens hood turned round.
The only thing I don't really like is that it can be a bit top heavy wen I have it on my waist belt as the loop part on the back is rather wide, It might well work better with the street and field chest harness/ waist coats you can buy but just using wast belt it can lean forwatd a bit. Mind you I have had the grip on as well, wish has added to the weight. Haven't used it as much as I thought I would have, but still woth getting.

My default bag is the LowePro TopLoad Zoom AW, and it fits the 20D (with grip) along with the EF 24-70 L with the hood reversed and the OpTech Pro loop strap. The grip makes it a tight fit from the hot shoe to the bottom of the grip, but it fits. I also keep 2 polarizers (in cases) in the lid.
I know this is a different bag, but use the dimensions for comparison.
Hope this helps.
Have Fun,
