These are the first proper photos I've taken. I've played around with them a bit. Could people give some feedback?
Thanks!

They're sertainly unique! Haven't seen anything on the forum like this yet so congrats on that. :-) I like the last one the most. It's pretty cool how the oil rig is right behind the guy like that. Very nice.

I agree on your selection of favorites.... I think the VW Bus shot and has the most potential. It kinda has the "endless summer" feel to it. The windsufer with the oil rig is cool too. The others are cool experiments with special effects - but they really don't standout on their own. Noting wrong with that as photography is all about personal expression. My problem is I know what I want to say with a photograph -- just don't always have the skills to get there. Keep plugging at it and post larger images.

lay off the photoshop filters...seems fun at first when you are all new to it, but its has no real use in our world...hehe
i think when something is processed to this degree, its no longer photography, its design

I would agree with blinking regarding the PS filters. I would much rather see the pre-processed photos. That said, they are unique and could definately have a place in an design advertisement aspect.

Thanks for the comments.
I suppose this graphic design course is getting the better of me lol. The original photos seemed pretty dull and lifeless, so I tried to spruce them up bit. I'll go out next time the sun is peeping through, and see what I can do. I'll leave the filters to a minimum next time. :-)
Cheers again.
