I would like to know if this is possible without creating exposure issues. I have an S head now and would like to pick up an A head for high speed if I do some sports and dance shooting, but I would also like to use it in conjunction with my S head for some studio and outdoor portrait work. Thank you for the information

Yep, they work just fine together. Just remember, there is a power distribution and you lose output when connecting two heads vs. one.

You don't really lose output. Each flash head would only get a portion of the full output because the output is being distributed into to heads. But the combined output from the two heads should still equal what you would get out of a single head alone connected to the port A of the pack. :)
