This was my attempt to save face and do something crazy. So I hit 7 games in 4 weeks to get photos from every university in Louisiana. Last weekend I hit the Bayou Classic in N.O. then zipped down I-10 for Troy-ULL; Last week I was limited to a single game due to flight constrictions, the previous week I drove a loop to get me to Nicholls State and back to LSU; and the week before that I drove a circle to get Northwestern State-Nicholls and McNeese St-Sam Houston state in a day.

I think the experiment proved you can catch a lot of football in a short period of time, you don't have a life, and a reliable travel budget. I'm trying to formulate something seemingly impossible for bowl season and then giver a go.

Hmm... took a closer look at the helmet flying pic. That's UCONN/ Notre Dame. Did you make it to South Bend as well?

Thanks for the comments; The gear was a 1diii and a 5dii; interchanged with 70-200, 300, and 400mm lenses.

I don't have a universal pass or any good secrets, but I do possess a great deal of initiative and persistence. The trip to South Bend was a last minute decision...I actually arrived at O'hare Friday without any reservations or even a map. I simply got on the interstate that went southeast and asked a couple of tollbooth attendants if I was going the right way (which turned a 100 mile trip into about 140, but I wasn't in a rush). I even got pulled over and had my personal belongings searched because the cop was suspicious that I had so much luggage for a simple overnight trip; then I just returned to the airport after the game and waited for my Sunday departure. The airline even forced me to gate check my gear at O'hare and after a couple of cancellations managed to lose the luggage and coincidentally never scanned my retrieval ticket. Fortunately that nightmare resolved itself. Nonetheless, I definitely don't have a single regret!
